My Hangers Laundromat Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to all customers, visitors, users, account holders, commercial clients, and any person using or accessing My Hangers Laundromat services, facilities, website, online forms, mobile applications, third-party booking tools, drop-off services, self-service machines, commercial laundry services, promotions, communication channels, and any related services offered by My Hangers Laundromat.

By entering any My Hangers Laundromat location, using our machines, submitting a form, scheduling a drop-off, creating an account, making a payment, leaving garments or items with us, communicating with our team, using our website, or using any My Hangers service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, you should not use our facilities, website, services, machines, drop-off services, commercial laundry services, or online systems.

These Terms apply to all current and future My Hangers Laundromat locations unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Business Name and Covered Parties

For purposes of these Terms, “My Hangers,” “My Hangers Laundromat,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to My Hangers Laundromat, its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, affiliates, successors, assigns, vendors, service providers, online systems, and related business operations.

“You,” “your,” “customer,” or “user” refers to any person, household, business, employee, representative, contractor, visitor, or customer using our services, website, facilities, machines, forms, accounts, or locations.

3. Services Covered

These Terms apply to, but are not limited to:

  • Self-service laundromat use
  • Wash and fold drop-off service
  • Commercial laundry services
  • Same day service when available
  • 24 hour turnaround service when available
  • In-store purchases
  • Online booking forms
  • Website submissions
  • Customer accounts
  • Digital payments
  • Phone, email, SMS, and online communications
  • Promotions, coupons, discounts, and special offers
  • Use of any My Hangers Laundromat facility or equipment

Service availability may vary by location, staffing, demand, equipment availability, store hours, holidays, weather, operational issues, or other business conditions.

4. No Guarantee of Availability

My Hangers Laundromat makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable services, but we do not guarantee that any location, machine, employee, system, service, promotion, or turnaround time will always be available.

We may modify, delay, suspend, limit, or discontinue any service at any time due to operational needs, equipment issues, staffing, emergencies, maintenance, business decisions, weather, supply shortages, payment issues, or circumstances outside our control.

5. Self-Service Laundromat Use

Customers using self-service machines are responsible for selecting the correct machine, cycle, water temperature, detergent, dryer setting, and drying time.

Customers are solely responsible for checking garment labels, reading machine instructions, monitoring their laundry, and removing items promptly after each cycle.

My Hangers Laundromat is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Improper machine selection
  • Overloading machines
  • Using incorrect detergent or chemicals
  • Using too much detergent
  • Mixing colors, fabrics, or incompatible items
  • High heat drying
  • Failure to follow garment care labels
  • Failure to monitor laundry
  • Leaving items unattended
  • Foreign objects left in pockets
  • Pre-existing garment defects
  • Color bleeding, shrinkage, fading, tearing, pilling, melting, or loss of elasticity

Customers must report any machine issue to staff immediately before continuing use. Refunds or credits, if any, are provided at management’s discretion.

6. Wash and Fold Drop-Off Service

For wash and fold drop-off service, customers provide laundry to My Hangers Laundromat for washing, drying, and folding.

Unless specific instructions are provided and accepted by our staff, laundry may be processed using standard wash and dry procedures.

Customer instructions are accepted at our discretion. We may decline special instructions that are impractical, unsafe, unclear, inconsistent with garment labels, or outside our normal service process.

We do not guarantee exact folding style, garment arrangement, detergent compatibility, stain removal, odor removal, wrinkle removal, or preservation of special fabrics.

7. Customer Responsibilities for Drop-Off Laundry

Before dropping off laundry, customers are responsible for:

  • Checking all garment care labels
  • Emptying all pockets
  • Removing cash, cards, jewelry, keys, electronics, documents, medications, personal items, sharp objects, pens, cosmetics, food, gum, crayons, tools, lighters, vapes, hazardous materials, or foreign objects
  • Separating delicate, dry-clean-only, specialty, color-sensitive, or high-value items
  • Informing staff of special care requirements in writing
  • Identifying items that should not be machine washed or dried
  • Disclosing heavily soiled, contaminated, hazardous, or unusual items
  • Not including items that may damage machines, other garments, staff, customers, or facilities

My Hangers Laundromat is not responsible for items left in pockets or inside laundry bags.

8. Items We May Refuse

My Hangers Laundromat may refuse, reject, cancel, or return any laundry order at our discretion.

We may refuse items that include or appear to include:

  • Biohazard materials
  • Human or animal waste
  • Blood or bodily fluids beyond ordinary household laundry
  • Mold or mildew contamination
  • Bed bugs, fleas, lice, roaches, pests, or infestation risk
  • Oil-soaked items
  • Gasoline, solvents, chemicals, or flammable substances
  • Paint, tar, adhesives, or construction materials
  • Heavily contaminated commercial items
  • Hazardous or sharp objects
  • Items that may damage equipment
  • Items that create safety or health concerns
  • Items prohibited by law or store policy

If prohibited items are found after drop-off, we may stop processing the order and contact the customer. Additional fees may apply for cleanup, handling, disposal, equipment cleaning, facility cleaning, or damage.

9. Special Garments and Delicate Items

Customers should not include delicate, expensive, irreplaceable, sentimental, designer, couture, vintage, leather, suede, fur, silk, wool, beaded, sequined, embroidered, structured, formalwear, wedding, heirloom, dry-clean-only, or specialty items in standard wash and fold laundry unless the customer accepts the risk.

My Hangers Laundromat is not responsible for damage to items that require special handling but are included in regular laundry.

10. Stains, Odors, Shrinkage, Fading, and Color Bleeding

My Hangers Laundromat does not guarantee:

  • Removal of stains
  • Removal of odors
  • Removal of pet hair
  • Removal of mildew smells
  • Prevention of shrinkage
  • Prevention of fading
  • Prevention of color bleeding
  • Prevention of dye transfer
  • Prevention of pilling
  • Prevention of fabric thinning
  • Preservation of elasticity
  • Restoration of damaged garments
  • Perfect whiteness or brightness
  • Exact fragrance level or detergent result

Some stains, odors, and fabric issues are permanent or may worsen during normal laundering. Customer accepts these risks.

11. Commercial Laundry Services

Commercial laundry customers are responsible for providing accurate information about item types, volume, soil level, industry needs, turnaround expectations, pickup or drop-off needs, and any special handling requirements.

Commercial accounts may require separate written agreements, pricing, schedules, minimums, payment terms, or service rules.

My Hangers Laundromat does not guarantee uninterrupted commercial service, exact turnaround times, removal of all stains, or suitability for specialized industry compliance unless expressly agreed in writing.

Commercial customers are responsible for ensuring that their laundry does not include hazardous, contaminated, regulated, or prohibited materials.

12. Pricing, Weights, Minimums, and Fees

Pricing may vary by service, location, weight, item type, turnaround time, special handling, order size, commercial account terms, and promotions.

Wash and fold orders may be weighed to determine price. Scales and final weight determinations are made by My Hangers Laundromat.

Minimum charges may apply.

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Same day service
  • Rush service
  • Oversized items
  • Comforters, blankets, bedding, rugs, mats, or heavy items
  • Special handling
  • Excessively soiled items
  • Pet hair
  • Rewash requests not caused by our error
  • Storage of unclaimed items
  • Returned payments
  • Chargebacks
  • Cancelled orders
  • Damage caused by customer items
  • Cleanup or disposal of prohibited materials

All pricing is subject to change without prior notice.

13. Turnaround Times

Any turnaround time, including same day service or 24 hour turnaround, is an estimate unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Turnaround times may be affected by order volume, staffing, machine availability, store hours, holidays, weather, equipment issues, customer instructions, payment delays, or other operational factors.

My Hangers Laundromat is not liable for delays.

14. Pickup of Completed Orders

Customers are responsible for picking up completed orders promptly.

Orders not picked up within a reasonable time may be subject to storage fees.

My Hangers Laundromat may contact customers by phone, email, text, or other available contact method, but we are not responsible if the customer does not receive or respond to messages.

Customers must inspect orders at pickup. Any issue should be reported immediately.

15. Abandoned Laundry and Unclaimed Property

Laundry, garments, bags, or personal items left at My Hangers Laundromat beyond a reasonable pickup period may be considered abandoned.

Unless a different period is required by law or posted store policy, items left unclaimed for more than 30 days after completion, notice, or last customer contact may be stored, donated, discarded, recycled, or otherwise handled at management’s discretion.

My Hangers Laundromat is not responsible for loss, damage, odor, mildew, theft, deterioration, or disposal of abandoned items.

Storage fees may apply before release.

16. Lost or Damaged Item Claims

All claims for missing, lost, or damaged items must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of pickup or delivery of the completed order.

Claims submitted after 48 hours may be denied.

Customer must provide:

  • Order receipt or proof of service
  • Description of item
  • Photos if available
  • Proof of ownership if requested
  • Proof of value if requested
  • Date of drop-off and pickup
  • Any special instructions provided at drop-off

My Hangers Laundromat may investigate claims at its discretion. Submission of a claim does not guarantee reimbursement.

17. Liability Cap for Laundry Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, if My Hangers Laundromat is found responsible for loss or damage to laundry, liability shall be limited to the lesser of:

  • The fair market value of the item at the time of loss or damage, considering age, condition, depreciation, wear, and useful life
  • The amount paid for the specific service related to the affected item
  • A maximum amount determined by store policy per order or per pound

Replacement cost, retail cost, sentimental value, designer value, collector value, loss of use, emotional distress, inconvenience, business losses, or consequential damages are not covered.

No reimbursement will be provided for normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, manufacturing defects, weak seams, loose buttons, zippers, embellishments, shrinking, fading, color bleeding, dye transfer, pilling, elasticity loss, or care label issues.

18. Personal Items and Valuables

Customers should not leave valuables or personal items in laundry bags, carts, pockets, machines, folding tables, vehicles, or anywhere on the premises.

My Hangers Laundromat is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or discarded personal property, including but not limited to:

  • Cash
  • Credit cards
  • Identification
  • Jewelry
  • Keys
  • Electronics
  • Phones
  • Documents
  • Medication
  • Glasses
  • Tools
  • Wallets
  • Purses
  • Bags
  • Toys
  • Sentimental items

Any personal items found may be discarded, held temporarily, or handled at management’s discretion.

19. In-Store Rules and Location Policies

To maintain a safe, clean, respectful, and efficient environment, the following rules apply at all My Hangers Laundromat locations:

  • No smoking
  • No vaping
  • No alcohol
  • No illegal drugs
  • No intoxication
  • No weapons unless otherwise protected by applicable law
  • No public restroom unless posted otherwise
  • No soliciting
  • No loitering
  • No sleeping
  • No disorderly conduct
  • No harassment of staff or customers
  • No abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior
  • No vandalism
  • No misuse of machines, carts, tables, equipment, or facilities
  • No children on carts, machines, counters, tables, or equipment
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • No pets except service animals as defined by applicable law
  • No barefoot entry
  • No shirt, no service
  • Proper attire required
  • Do not overload machines
  • Do not sit, stand, climb, or play on machines
  • Do not remove other customers’ laundry unless authorized by staff
  • Do not leave laundry unattended for extended periods
  • Do not bring hazardous, flammable, contaminated, or prohibited items
  • Follow posted signage and staff instructions

Violation of these rules may result in refusal of service, removal from the premises, cancellation of service, reporting to law enforcement, or banning from the facility.

20. Children and Supervision

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Customers are responsible for the safety, conduct, and actions of children in their care.

Children may not climb, sit, stand, ride, or play on carts, machines, counters, folding tables, doors, windows, chairs, or equipment.

My Hangers Laundromat is not responsible for injuries caused by failure to supervise children or misuse of the facility.

21. Service Animals and Pets

Only service animals as defined by applicable law are permitted inside My Hangers Laundromat locations.

Pets, emotional support animals, comfort animals, and non-service animals are not allowed unless required by applicable law.

Customers with service animals are responsible for controlling the animal at all times.

An animal may be required to leave if it is not under control, creates a safety issue, damages property, disrupts operations, or violates applicable legal standards.

22. Safety, Security, and Surveillance

For safety, security, quality control, theft prevention, and operational purposes, My Hangers Laundromat locations may use video surveillance, security systems, monitoring tools, and other safety measures.

By entering our locations, customers acknowledge that they may be recorded.

Surveillance footage is used for business, safety, security, investigation, insurance, law enforcement, and legal purposes.

My Hangers Laundromat is not required to provide surveillance footage to customers unless required by law.

23. Right to Refuse Service

My Hangers Laundromat reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, remove customers, ban customers, reject laundry, or limit access to any person at our discretion, including for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Unsafe conduct
  • Abusive behavior
  • Nonpayment
  • Suspected fraud
  • Repeated complaints without basis
  • Misuse of machines or facilities
  • Disruption of staff or customers
  • Failure to follow staff instructions
  • Prohibited items
  • Health or safety concerns
  • Operational limitations
  • Any reason permitted by law

24. Payments and Refunds

Payment is due at the time required by My Hangers Laundromat, which may be before, during, or after service depending on the service type.

Accepted payment methods may vary by location.

All payments must be valid and authorized.

Refunds, credits, rewashes, or adjustments are provided only at management’s discretion unless required by law.

Promotions, coupons, discounts, and special offers have no cash value and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

25. Promotions and Special Offers

Promotions are subject to change, cancellation, expiration, availability, and eligibility requirements.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions:

  • Apply only to new customers when stated
  • Apply only to eligible services
  • May be limited to one use per customer, household, phone number, email, or address
  • Cannot be combined with other offers
  • Have no cash value
  • May require minimum weight, minimum spend, or specific service type
  • May vary by location
  • May be refused if misuse or fraud is suspected

My Hangers Laundromat reserves the right to modify or cancel any promotion at any time.

26. Website, Forms, and Online Services

The My Hangers Laundromat website, online forms, scheduling tools, third-party booking systems, and digital services are provided for convenience.

We do not guarantee that the website, forms, booking tools, emails, SMS messages, or digital systems will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or always available.

My Hangers Laundromat is not liable for delays, missed submissions, technical issues, incorrect information entered by users, email delivery failures, spam filtering, third-party platform outages, or system errors.

Customers are responsible for verifying order details, location selection, date, time, contact information, and service selection.

27. Account and Security

If customers create accounts through any My Hangers Laundromat system or related service provider, customers are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.

Customers are responsible for all activity under their account.

My Hangers Laundromat is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by customer negligence, weak passwords, shared devices, compromised email accounts, or failure to secure login credentials.

28. Communications Consent

By providing a phone number, email address, or other contact information, customers agree that My Hangers Laundromat may contact them regarding orders, services, pickup reminders, payment issues, promotions, customer service, operational notices, and related business communications.

Message and data rates may apply.

Customers may request to stop promotional messages where applicable, but transactional messages related to orders or services may still be sent.

29. Customer Content and Reviews

If customers submit reviews, photos, testimonials, comments, messages, or feedback, they grant My Hangers Laundromat permission to use, display, reproduce, edit, publish, and share that content for marketing, customer service, reputation management, and business purposes, unless prohibited by law.

Customers represent that their content is truthful, lawful, and does not violate any third-party rights.

30. Intellectual Property

All My Hangers Laundromat names, logos, designs, website content, graphics, text, images, service descriptions, forms, branding, slogans, and materials are owned by or licensed to My Hangers Laundromat.

Customers may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use My Hangers Laundromat intellectual property without written permission.

31. No Warranties

All services, facilities, machines, website tools, online systems, and communications are provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Hangers Laundromat disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted service.

32. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, My Hangers Laundromat, its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, vendors, affiliates, agents, successors, and assigns shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, emotional distress, inconvenience, business interruption, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of goodwill, loss of use, personal injury, property damage, garment damage, theft, delay, or other damages arising out of or relating to:

  • Use of any My Hangers Laundromat location
  • Use of machines, carts, tables, equipment, or facilities
  • Use of wash and fold services
  • Use of commercial laundry services
  • Use of website, forms, booking systems, or online tools
  • Errors, omissions, delays, interruptions, or system failures
  • Unauthorized access to accounts or data
  • Theft, loss, or damage to unattended items
  • Garments or personal items left in pockets
  • Customer failure to provide accurate instructions
  • Improper care instructions
  • Pre-existing garment defects
  • Customer misuse of services or machines
  • Acts or omissions of other customers or third parties
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

33. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Hangers Laundromat, its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, vendors, affiliates, agents, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, fines, penalties, and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use or misuse of services, machines, facilities, website, or online systems
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law, rule, regulation, or third-party right
  • Items you place in machines or drop off for service
  • Hazardous, contaminated, flammable, damaging, or prohibited items
  • Damage caused by items in your laundry
  • Your failure to supervise children or guests
  • Your conduct at any My Hangers Laundromat location
  • Claims made by third parties related to your items, conduct, account, or instructions

My Hangers Laundromat reserves the right to control the defense and settlement of any matter subject to indemnification.

34. Force Majeure

My Hangers Laundromat shall not be liable for any failure, delay, interruption, cancellation, damage, or loss caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Fires
  • Power outages
  • Water outages
  • Gas outages
  • Internet outages
  • Equipment failure
  • Supply shortages
  • Labor shortages
  • Labor disputes
  • Public health events
  • Government orders
  • Road closures
  • Civil disturbances
  • Crime
  • Vendor failures
  • Third-party platform failures
  • Acts of God
  • Any other event beyond reasonable control

35. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Subject to any arbitration provision below, any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless another venue is required by applicable law.

36. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

At My Hangers Laundromat’s election, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, services, payments, website use, account use, laundry orders, facilities, promotions, or any interaction with My Hangers Laundromat may be resolved through binding arbitration instead of court proceedings, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis only. Class actions, collective actions, representative actions, and consolidated proceedings are not permitted unless required by law.

Each party shall be responsible for its own attorneys’ fees unless otherwise awarded under applicable law or arbitration rules.

This section should be reviewed by legal counsel before publishing or enforcing.

37. Limitation on Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim related to laundry loss, damage, billing, service quality, website use, or use of My Hangers Laundromat services must be submitted within the time periods stated in these Terms.

Laundry loss or damage claims must be submitted within 48 hours of pickup.

Any legal claim must be filed within one year from the date the claim arose unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

38. Assignment

Customers may not assign, transfer, delegate, or sublicense any rights or obligations under these Terms without written permission from My Hangers Laundromat.

My Hangers Laundromat may assign or transfer its rights and obligations at any time, including in connection with a merger, sale, acquisition, restructuring, transfer of assets, or business transition.

39. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, if permitted by law.

40. Waiver

Failure by My Hangers Laundromat to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of My Hangers Laundromat.

41. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any posted rules, service-specific policies, pricing notices, signed agreements, online disclosures, and written customer agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the customer and My Hangers Laundromat regarding the services.

They supersede all prior communications, understandings, or representations, unless a separate signed agreement states otherwise.

42. Updates to Terms

My Hangers Laundromat may update these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms may be posted on the website, displayed in-store, included in service communications, or otherwise made available.

Continued use of My Hangers Laundromat services after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

43. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by My Hangers Laundromat.

My Hangers Laundromat reserves the right to interpret, apply, modify, enforce, or waive policies at management’s discretion, subject to applicable law.

By using this facility, you agree to all posted rules and My Hangers Laundromat Terms and Conditions.
